International conference of Casuality Europe: East 2006Date: 16.11.2006 – 18.11.2006 Conference of Casuality Europe: East 2006, a specialized event of international value, devoted to problems and prospects of development of casual games’ industry was carried out for the first time in Eastern Europe and in Kyiv in particular. For a right of holding of the event three countries fought: Russia, Latvia and Ukraine. Ukraine has won the competition. And «Choice of year» has become a basic organizer of whole 3-days event. Daily conference-part with lectures, panel discussions and round table was conducted in the newest business-centre «Leonardo», and every night the evening entertaining program offered the different kind of rest to the guests. So in the first evening the guests could get acquainted and take easier with each other with the mug of beer in the comfortable pub «Talgen», in the second evening they could feel amazing drive of rockabilly storm of the group «Ot Vinta», take part in drawing of prizes and dance in art-club «Docker’s-ABC». In a conference 310 persons from more than 90 companies took part. 38 western participants, among which were representatives of such companies as Electronic Arts, Real Arcade, Vivendi, Oberon Media, Boonty, Reflexive etc. Because of bright impressions made by conference, Kyiv has become the permanent place of further conferences Casuality Europe: East since then!
